What do Islamist terrorists want? The answer should be obvious, but it is not.

I understand that bin Laden, like the Unabomber, spends a great deal of his time writing, and there are reportedly thousands of pages of his thoughts already. While I've heard of a recent book with translations of some of his writings, I doubt you'd get a clear picture unless translations were available for all his "work".

I've seen fragments on the net, and it's a lot like reading Mein Kampf frankly, a lot of stream of consciousness twaddle and delusions of grandeur.

It would be useful if more of his stuff was readily available for people who don't speak Arabic and have access to the original, to read and judge for themselves.
