I personally don't care about monuments in public buildings, except when they do something to add to the mystique or aura of a building. Then it can be nice. However, there have been institutions and people in the past that have donated these monuments to public buildings. What's wrong with displaying them? There should be anything wrong with it. If it was a non-religious monument, then no one would be debating it. Then why is a debate required when it is religious? That is what stumps me. Religious or not, it should be allowed.
