Yes, for a lot of chronic offenders that's true. I have a few offenders that, as soon as they learn their temporary ban has been lifted, go right back to the garbage that got them banned in the first place. They don't even bother pretending to post on topic or within established thread guidelines. The last couple of times, I lifted their ban but didn't notify them. That helped until they noticed. <g/ng> But then they aren't chronic offenders. They are willfully defiant, ET AL. Fortunately, one of them was offed by SI Admin (for offenses elsewhere). And two others don't post on SI that often anymore.
