Don't shortsell Mao, MM. Latest stuff out on him is quite scary indeed. You may believe as a rebellion leader only he had little or no opportunity to eliminate any volume of people prior to 1945 but the truth seems to be different. Most recent facts around the long marche 1935 thru 1945 tell a totally different story: Mao was the worse of them all! Approx. 70 millon of his own gone by his hand, directly or indirectly. You read a lot so look up the book I quoted. I will be back with more details.
