JF, Sure seems to. You can do anything as long as you have the faith when you die.

Take the inverse view of it, and you'll see things in a whole different light. There is nothing any one person can do that makes him or her deserving of salvation. Not even if that person is solely responsible for the cure for cancer. It's all about the heart, which is the core of "salvation by faith."

This whole "recruiting tool" theory is bunk, because you don't even have to place one dime in the offering tray in order to make it to heaven. Not a very financially sustainable doctrine from a cult's point-of-view, yet Protestant denominations have thrived for centuries.

You should reflect on the "he who is without sin... throw the first stone" thing first.

Like I said before, 9 times out of 10 you are the one bringing up Christ first. It's really tough for me to let go of my stone when I can still see you clutching onto yours.

>"My view"? I think many evangelical "groups" are a sham, most religions are OK IMHO.

I think he's confusing it with my view!
