Those are pure valueless skills. It is not on the same scale as Watson's claim to raise butchers and thieves, which are moral doctrines (this is to say he did not mean to simply claim he can teach people to be stealthy or be great martial artists). My point is that Watson and people like him want to reduce our entire existence, including our values, into responses of mindless automata. In fact there is good scientific research that shows empathy and compassion are ingrained into our genes and core values play a big role in our lives no matter what the environment we live in.
