I like that subtle mockery :-) Yes, the article was not afraid to look the issue squarely in the eye, as it were. I'm going to read it again! Thank you for the wonderful tolerance you have shown. I regret I cannot take your high road. I'm not about to turn any cheek (never mind the other) to mental midgets whose stock in trade is a perpetual ignorance, rudeness and intimidation--and the substitution of mockery and insult for discussion and argument. Once people declare that THAT is the hand they play with, then they forfeit any claim to my pity or to my respect. Greg or e, Oeconomicus, and sunny have acted in contemptible manner. I gave all of them the option to be fair and decent. But even wearing kid gloves, they obviously had no appreciation of their choice or responsibility in contributing to that fairness and decency. The last example (as I pointed out here) was when Sunny failed to discourage gratuitous insults against me on another thread, and when I went there to ask him to be respectful he instead chose to ban me like the worse kind of bully that he is (those who prevent their victims from speaking or acting). He thus broke his thread rules and also broke ranks with all of us who believe in fair comment and in equal rules for all. It goes without saying that those whom support his contemptible bullying are themselves bullies--and are doing what bullies do everywhere--working in groups to defend their cowardice! Good luck to them!!
