You've formulated a very plausible argument. I'll concede that the current political division and partisan bickering and vitriol was spawned by the immoral, and loved by some, William Jefferson Clinton. But I also think that the present witch hunt.......formulated by angry McCarthy era liberals.....is a direct result of the loss of faith by average Americans in their (liberals) ideology. That is part of what drives their insane gotcha mentality imo.
