Hmm. That isn't my experience. Most of my teachers in my private school were hired away from Universities and held doctorates in their respective fields. As far as the child molestations, I think the stats might show that they are just as prevalent in public schools as in private schools. I can tell you that in my school, we didn't have any of that. Those priests were all upstanding. One of them married my wife and I and we still keep in touch with most of them. I know that may not be the norm, but that was my experience.
