Jon C, Where in the world are you talking about?? I have ridden horses for many years, and never had to pick up it's poop. That stuff is good for the ground, and whatever grows in it. They emit a lot less pollution into the air than a charcoal grill does. Cattle emit a little bit more. I guess that is because of the 4 stomach situation, but the point is to eliminate the gas guzzling vehicles, so who would care about the use of the plant waste?? It'll be a frozen day in hell before I put a poop bag on the rear end of any horse I might ride.

If they could find a non-emitting fuel that would not sacrifice performance, I would forget about riding a horse.

I do hope that you made those observations with tongue in cheek.
