I think it's wonderful that Jewish people have a state and encourage Israel to defend itself by any means necessary ... but the persecution thing gets old after the first 100,000 or so times you've read or heard it.

The location of the state is problematic in that it encompasses land considered holy by three of the world's major religions, resulting in unnecessary intrusion in Israel's affairs by non-Israeli nations, and unnnecessary intrusion in affairs of non-Israeli nations by Israel.

Things would be a lot simpler if it was located somewhere on the continent of Australia, but if wishes were horses poor men would ride.

Are you seriously arguing that anti-Semitism gives the Zionists the moral or ethical right to inflict enormous pain and suffering on another group of people? To bomb hotels, knowing that people will die? To confiscate houses, farms and orchards and drive people into refugee camps in other countries? To massacre men, women and children?
