Smear boat liar gets caught ...

There is a special election in Ohio for a seat in Congress. This area is 70% GOP, so its not a real contest, but wait ...

A Iraq war veteran is running as the Democrat (no Yellow Elephant like some on SI). So what does the GOP do? Bring out the Smear Boat liars:

A GOP campaign consultant Eric Minamyer on Hackett (the DEM):
"I understand that Hackett did not participate in combat at all. ... Let's just not act as though we led marines in combat if we did not, okay."

But give Minamyer some credit. He was caught and admits he was wrong:
ericminamyer.myblogsite.com

"Did Paul Hackett lead marines in combat?

Yes on October 21, 2004.

Did Paul Hackett command marines at all, if so who?

Yes, at least on that date. The marines are in a picture he shows on the news report.

Was Paul Hackett in combat?

Yes, on October 21, 2004 traveling from Ramadi to Fallujah."

Any chance SI's cowards will admit they are wrong? ROFLOL.

I'm glad I just decided not to post that. Decided to ignore it. Glad to see you jumped on it, tho.
