First place I worked after USAF was a Ford dealer (first year of the Mustang). The salesmen were authorized to approve "Bird Dog" fees ($25) for any customer referred to us by a previous customer, that bought another car. Good times for salesmen with the then new Mustang available. ie, first full month selling anything at all and I netted $1300+ (April '65) in commissions. Thank you Mustang and F-150 trucks.
