I believe this part of what you said Tim, is the key... I don't think there is ever a morally requirement for any type of tax, only a practical need ...

Entirely too many of our Representatives are voting for taxes without really understanding, nor considering, the actual need, or hardship, the taxes will put on the citizens who elect them.

But what's a Billion here, and a Billion there...? As Dirksen used to say, pretty soon, you're talking about REAL money....(except he used "million" I think....)

There are too many people like Elroy that think they have the RIGHT to steal money from those who earn it, or have inherited it....

There's always going to be the ner'do wells, I guess. And that's exactly what people that believe the way Elroy are, IMO.

They either have money from the family, and feel guilty (but not guilty enough to give it all away, and earn their own), or they really are ner'do wells. Those who are just too lazy to earn their own living, and demand that others do it for them.
