i had realized of course there were islamic sympathizers in the BBC, but that is quite blatantly stupid (threatening the life of an afghan blogger) ..... The BBC is treating the allegations seriously. We are conducting an urgent investigation both in London and in Kabul to ascertain whether the e-mails came from the BBC. We are clear that such a communication would be unacceptable if they came from any BBC staff member and contravene BBC guidelines. We will communicate the results of our investigation as soon as we have any reliable information.” it will be a devastating blow to the BBC's credibility if the threat is traced directly to their facilities
