John C, The capture of the bombers so quickly by the Brits, is a bit scary. Here we are the greatest nation on the earth, and cannot do as well. What does that tell us? That we should invest in the makers of CC TVs, since they sales are going to rise sharply?

it tells us they were suicide bombers and bombs didn't go off. they had no second plan and went back to their families or relatives. even guy in rome was staying with his sister and brother in law. they were using their cell phones. the tube had pictures of them and posted them on the front page of every newspaper and tv station. they printed up pictures and posted them all over london... It also appears they had the press and tv cooperation. our bombers flew into twin towers and didn't leave much evidence but we had pictures. not sure how fast they would have found these guys without the pictures of them on the bus and running from tubes. Hopefully we stop this nonsense about invasion of privacy by putting cameras on streets and in subways etc. I think Europe may be waking up to terrorism.

It tells us when just about your entire society in public is being taped by video camera's that they are going to have your face plastered all over Europe within 15 minutes of your bombs not going off. We of course wouldn't give up the privacy to have so many cameras.
