islamonline.net I think it is couraging VERY encouraging that Pakistan is weeding out the religious leaders that are inciting terror against the West. These madrasses should be protected for teaching peace, not indoctrinating suicide bombers. It is very difficult to comprehend how much pressure is on Islamic leaders to tow the line of fundamentalism. How do you preach moderation to a group of people that are being thoroughly oppressed by the traditions of Islam? There is alot of interesting fatwas on islamonline.net. I found this thread to be particularly interesting. Read the one by the confused student from Germany. He is warned from moving to a Islamic country where he would not have any freedom of speech. islamonline.net
