You don't have the brains to see that the statement is very specific. What it absolutely does not say is that the US did not support the Taliban forces against the Soviet Union, or that that the US did not support many of our other one time friends who have turned against us, such as Saddam Hussein. As far as direct CIA support for Bin Laden, just because it isn't provable doesn't mean it didn't happen. You choose to believe them when they say they didn't. I am not so sure. It's human nature enough to lie about something you know cannot be proven.
