Yeppers. I think that's what we can ultimately expect from these guys. Yup, we can expect more of the same: Maybe they were innocent. Muslims couldn't have done this Muslims are too incompetent to have done this It's all an excuse to bash Islam! It was the CIA! It was the Joooooos! (I heard the Jews were all warned to stay away that day) etc. etc. As the saying goes, Denial ain't just a river in Egypt. The core of the fight in the GWOT is getting the majority of Muslim world to leave the Dream Palace of the Arabs, where the Arabs are always great and their misfortunes are always somebody else's fault.
