I do drink a whole lot of water on hot days. All the time, actually. I usually carry a water bottle wherever I go. It was just that I really love Diet Coke Lime and hadn't had one in a long time--I don't think soda is very healthy, particularly with aspartame--and it felt so cold in the display case of the mini-mart, that I couldn't resist. Of note is that most of the major soda makers are switching to Splenda, which MAY be safer than aspartame. I guess we will find out over time. Hansen's, a natural brand I respect, made the switch a long time ago.

I do think the Voss water, that glacial water from Norway, is a bit over the top, though. Have you seen it? It is packaged in heavy glass bottles, must be very costly (and therefore hard on the environment) to ship, and costs $4.95 a bottle at our neighborhood luxury market.
