Grace, The "dryER season" in Florida is from December thru May.

I thought Ft. Lauderdale was the Venice of Florida. Then again, there is always Venice, FL. Which is near Sarasota. Along the Italian theme there is always Naples.

As for Cape Coral. You probably won't have much trouble selling it. Especially if it's waterfront. It's near where Hurricane Charlie hit last year. Therefore it's a hot area. <G>

I have a house on a canal, can ride it over to the palm beach country club, from there to the intercoastal waterway - then take it out to the ocean - I thought this was a big selling point for a retiree that wanted to fish - get him a little john boat in his backyard and down the canal he goes.

Well yesterday we had the first major rain since I have been down here, pipes sending lots of water into the canal and then today it was HOT - oh my god - the stench - I hope nobody comes the day right after a good rain - it will knock you over with that sewage smell. I think mosquitoes are much worse right here by the canal too - but everyone likes the diseases they carry no? hehe I went to venice, italy when I was younger, I don't remember their being a bug problem like I am experiencing next to this canal. Does anyone know if that is correct or do the canals in venice have mosquito all over?
