Government interest in space is not about economics and private enterprise - its about national security.

It's too bad more people don't realize that Derek.

There is another huge potential use I think. Solar panels beaming energy to earth may be possible someday.

I also wonder if it will be possible to help make the deserts here on earth produce crops....aided by panels in the sky.
