I remember the Bagwan too. I know several people who visited the compound, either for business or to satisfy curiosity. A woman I know toured the Bagwan's ranch. She said there was little doubt about what the male contingent there wanted, and presumably, the female. The "hotel" rooms had rubber gloves in the bedside stands instead of Gideon Bibles. That bunch of creeps tried to poison salad bars with salmonella, and generally made a spectacle of the state of Oregon. More recently, Oregon was infested with terrorists trying to set up a training camp down near Bly. It's amazing to me that people are willing to yield up their sovereign individuality to these nutcases. Even more amazing is our willingness to give them credibility by tolerating them in our midst.
