but I think there is reason to address the issues that produce them. The "issues" that produce them are from a single source, The Koran. You obviously think they are caused by other things.

It’s always interesting to see how people who pride themselves on sophisticated analyses and exquisitely tuned cultural sensibilities cannot see the plain home truths. The foe sneers: you are infidels; you die now. The moderns pull a face, steeple their fingers, and wonder what they really mean. May I suggest, before looking to every horizon for underlying causes, that it makes good sense to listen to the jihadis themselves and take seriously what they themselves say about their goals?
