"Just check out the energy bill. It has me seeing red."

Just noticed this? A bill custom taylored to not do anything that makes a difference except to the shareholders of energy companies...

You know, if you wanted to bash Bush and his bedmates in Congress, you are missing a whopper.

You misunderstood.......read that Uzbek article. Its one of the few times I thought the administration did the right thing. The Uzbek dictator is a tyrant. All kinds of atrocities have occurred under his watch. The US is saying clean up your act or we don't want your airbase. Of course, we shouldn't have used them in the first place........it was common knowledge the guy was bad from the get go........but better late than never.

Just check out the energy bill. It has me seeing red. Before we nuke Mecca, why don't we start by voting out every Republican except McCain in Congress, and Bush out of the Whitehouse. Freaking morons.

I agree. Its more of the same. I trade oil and gas stocks. These companies are making hand over fist money right now. And yet they continue to get subsidies from the gov't under this new energy bill. Now do you understand why I find Bush so appalling? He setting himself up for a big job in the industry when he finishes the White House. He's made a mess of things or the country but he will come out smelling like a rose unless, of course, kharma catches up with him which I think it will.
