Even though Pakistan and Saudi Arabia are both dictatorships, I get the impression that the politics required for even a dictator to stay in power are quite complex.

Listening to Musharraf, I'm never certain if his message is intended for his domestic audience or the people of other nations.

Its an odd nation where almost no one is a native English speaker yet the President of Pakistan gives all of his speeches, in his less than perfect English, to his countrymen, most of whom speak and understand English even less well than he does.
