I'm not sure how reading what people say, and thinking they mean something by what they say (something that is a societally agreed upon way of taking a word), is fundamentalist, or even judgmental (except about the word "partner"- and if we make no judgments about what words mean, how do we decide among various meanings?). Would you care to explain that? I can understand how the reaction to the interpretation might be fundamentalist, but I can't see how just thinking the word means what we know we define the word to mean is fundamentalist.

Looking forward to your explanation.

Interesting to see how those who are supposedly most against gay bashing are the quickest to engage in it when they think it might suit their purposes.
