Are there any other incidents that are a little fresher than 150+ years ago where your model might be more appropriate? Or are you saying it will take 150+ years to quell the uprising in the Islamofascist world? Let's pretend the tables were turned, and that a group (a LARGE group...perhaps as large as the estimated 1/2 of 1% of the total Muslim religion.... except insert 1/2 of 1% of the total Christian religion)... This group of "Christians" bomb the WTC I equivalent in Mecca. and kill innocent citizens. This group of "Christians" bomb the USS Cole equivalent in Saudi and kill innocent people. This group of "Christians" bomb the 2 Saudi embassies equivalent to the ones that were bombed in the Middle East and kill innocent citizens. This group of....murderers see where I am going with this? We've continued to "turn our cheek", MANY TIMES, and we now see what that has accomplished.
