Perhaps you're thinking of guns, not cameras?

Two very different technologies, with very different implications re installing them at traffic lights.

yes, i remember them fighting video cameras and figured it was because of the nonsense going on in the cockpit.

the airline pilots also fought the box recorder before going in. same reasons would interfer with their job performance.

in both situations pilots were concerned it was going to used for disciplinary action.. of course they are not allowed to review box recorder unless there is an accident.
