I would agree that getting squashed by that huge ugly SUV is more likely in the near future, redfish. But almost all public authorities are getting almost hysterical about the bird flu, and it is getting a lot more news coverage, so I cannot say I'm unconcerned. We have gradually gotten a big stockpile of food for ourselves and out pets, surgical masks and gloves, and things like toilet paper, so we won't have to expose ourselves by going off the property for at least a few weeks. I think that is something prudent that everyone could do, just like driving defensively and being particularly aware of large vehicles.
