It is such a relief to read postings like yours that reflect a connection with reality. Just yesterday I was taking a walk and discovered that there had been a "tear-down" of an apparently quite sound and very attractive house, in in the best neighborhood in the city, that I had passed often. I cannot understand that kind of wastefulness, although I guess the people who are doing it have the money to waste.
