Good for you. You did the right thing in 2004.

Democrats in 2004 were out-organized, but one of the reasons could not be helped. Kerry went through an exhausting primary and was counted out at one point, then came raging back. He evfen had cancer surgery somewhere in there and had to replace his top staff. He then only had about six months to organize everything and to patch up things with Deaniacs and everyone else. Bush had four years to prepare. Big difference.

I too worked with Democrats in 2004. I found them all great people, very open, only a few of them very liberal, many of them pillars in the community, people of all kinds including corporate suits and quasi conservatives.

The rightwing myth of the "anti-American liberal" is ridiculous. What they're talking about are Naderites. Also, I'm convinced Bushies cheated in Ohio and other swing states. At least the election was a lot closer. Can't wait to see more evidence. Hope we find it.
