You deny Bush lied to the US about why we had to invade and occupy Iraq? Why didn't he tell thye simple truth, that he and his Texas buddies wanted the oilfields and big defense contracts? If he was really for fighting terrorism, he would have finished the job against Al Qaida and pressured terrorist strongholds in places like Yemen, Syria, Pakistan and Somalia. He didn't do any of that. He solely went after Iraq. Remember when Richard Clarke testified? He said Bush pulled him aside and insisted that the war on terror be about Iraq. Bush was lying to us from the word go. He wanted those oilfields. Not for the American people but for his big corporate cronies. same reason they let the phony energy crisis happen and never tried to stop it.
