Because someone very close to that person probably will be- somewhere. We're talking about pulling people out of a crowd to get their packages searched, not shooting them. While I don't think it's useful to search the packages of subway passengers, by profile or randomly, at worst a few people like his sons might get checked more than others. It's not the end of the world. And people who can't tell a Washingtonian from a Somali would either learn or get weeded out, for the most part. Message 21559751
