I live in America. I've even been approved for a green card though there is no sight of any of the relevant paperwork. I've lived in this country more than any other since I was 18 and completed high school in England and left that country (lived in UK 3 years in the interim between US, Aus, and Israel).

There are earthquakes, fires, volcanic eruptions, and tsunamis in Oregon in theory, but seem less frequent, but the historic record shows they can be very devastating and there was Mount Saint Helens but only killed like 50 people I think.

If I ever live near the coast it's going to be on top of a big hill without highly combustible forests, landslide risks... LOL
