Moominoid - great article. Looking at the last chart in the article, the S&P at 1223 is already in the upper band, headed for the "sell" line. One thing about Kondratiev waves - they assume demographics and generational cycles as a major driver of the physical economy and psychology. With people living and being productive MUCH longer, it is likely the cycles will stretch out and become more muted. Instead of having at most two generations in the work force at any given time, we now tend to have three generations with different values and experiences.
