Is the woman who put off having children in order to become a neurosurgeon somehow doing less to push the pebble up the hill than the woman who had six children who drive trucks?

We are all pursuing our own happiness. When we are talking about a culture growing or declining, it's more of a structural problem. How much and what kind of culture should we have? That is where the debate lies. Do we gain the highest economy and lose our own soul? That's the political fight.
