"religious zeal", before that it was a matter of linguistic stuff, and much before that, a matter of the free right to collect freedom military taxes..

Well, free, great trade too, plus collecting the taxes, commodity costs (as for oil).

However, it seems US is busy going back to that same, early and badly lost future??
(the reforms of land-property-rights, especially sand with oil beneath it, as well as gambling rights, not really important then)

PS I have always been fascinated with the Scalia-style original intents of the US constitution, the right to cheap labor and happiness, plus all that land

Attorneys participated in a mock trial before the Supreme Court. The fictitious lawsuit focused on a petition by the Commonwealth of Virginia upon readmission to the Union following the Civil War claiming that the creation of the State of West Virginia had been Unconstitutional. Attorneys portrayed the Attorneys General of the states while three judges acted as the Supreme Court.

Btw, me still thinks just some basic Cuban property rights might send US haywire once again, Bolton was sure about that, and Bush seems to be thankful??
(that funny election system, skipipng the other funny swinging-factors)
