A polynesian friend of mine, Rocky, runs a catamaran from Waikiki beach. Fifteen years ago, he was playing an Arab villian as a wrestler on the Caribbean circuit.

He says he is very glad they search people who look like him.

Sure, and I am in favor of profiling. But it seems to me that is a different point.
I think it's ridiculous to bow to PC about this. And if blonde, blue-eyed grannies are the profile for the next wave of terrorists, I sure would want them sought out.
But it still doesn't mean that I can get indignant because my nice little person is subjected to the same rules and seaches as everyone else. Arguing that searching grannies is a waste of time is valid, but not the point. I don't believe her reaction was acceptable. (unless of course, something outside of the norm took place).
