That article really does not go into any analysis of whether Rove, Libby or someone else might have had a hand in moving information from a memo labeled "secret" into the public mainstream. I really don't care if it was Rove or not, but I would like it eventually revealed how that information got to the reporters....I presume they did not read the top secret memo.

Who outed the name to reporters is a tangled web. It is indeed a challenging job for the special prosecutor to find out who even though there is a perjury charge in the bag against Rove.

In the past week there have been some interesting developments that could undermine Bush. We have had two challenges to the White House; one from Bill Frist on the stem cell issue and the other from Senator Voinovich on the Bolton issue. And Bush with his veto and recess appointments has signalled to these two Senators that he is more powerful than they are and that "he does not care for what they think or do." Both these folks are pretty important and powerful folks in the Senate. And McCain's views on Bush are very well known. He has alienated himself from this troika.

Is Bush's alienation from his Senatorial colleagues complete? Time alone will tell. There is extreme nervousness in the Republican party with the shift of the Bushies to the ultra right. And the trump card some of the Republicans such as Voinovich and McCain hold against Bush is Karl Rove and Libby.
...Stay tuned. Still developing.
