Thus far....

True. There is no free lunch.

Also true... but perhaps unlikely, as the new Medicare costs begin to impact the budget in '06, the one-time corporate foreign tax break is no more, Greenspan leaves in '06... and the dollar is likely to resume it's decline (this time vs. the Asian currencies) round-about then, and it's quite possible that the impact of this these events on long rates will begin to seriously affect the carrying costs of our debts.
