Exactly. The prudish Dixie Puritans. Also from the Pentacostal roots, a la Jimmy Swaggart who'd preach fire and brimstone about "harlots" the morning after he was out carousing with sleazy hookers on the wrong side of town. All about projecting their inner guilty-shame onto the rest of us and thereby trying to dictate their tortured morality onto the whole country, lying that the Founding Fathersn intended it that way. Actually the Founding Fathers did not trust and could not stand evangelical types. They knew the dangers.
