One thing I can't understand is how any libertarian-minded person could support the current direction of the federal government?!? Rep. Ron Paul of TX is doing an excellent job of critiquing this train wreck from a libertarian perspective. I wonder how much longer he'll be a Republican? They'll try to knock him off in the next primary. Things like the PATRIOT Act can be argued from many perspectives concerning security issues, but from a truly libertarian perspective the PATRIOT Act and the general drift of the federal government since 9/11 is extremely alarming. We are witnessing the end of Constitutional government.
