where cameras are being used like in snack shops , banks, companies, etc. the policy is not to review a tape unless you have specific reasons to suspect something. otherwise i believe you get into invasion of privacy rights. no one should be going over camera tapes in stores that monitor clerks etc unless someone suspects a crime is taking place.

i know of it being policy not to review tapes in some companies. I would expect it could result in a law suit.
