"UN Secretary General Kofi Annan and diplomats said that they looked forward to working with John Bolton..."

As if they have a choice? I'm sure President Bush and Ambassador Bolton gave a sign of relief at this news...after laughing themselves silly.

The energy gouging represents a massive wealth and power grab, not just in Texas but globally. Unfortunately it also benefits states like Iran. It hurts every one of us. The only positive by-product is we're finally deciding to dump gas-guzzling engines, but that mainly benefits Japanese automakers. Detroit by lobbying to beat Kerry-McCain's CAFE standards bill ended up shooting themselves in the feet.

I saw Dick Cheney tucking $20 bills into garters at a strip club the other night.

Wouldn't his duracell batteries burn out if he was in a gentleman's club? Not over the T&A in his face but the moral dilema of whether he's a gentleman, what did I say to Senator Leahy on the Senate floor, fu something or other, well yea, all the gentlemen I know talk like that, ok I can go in.
