I like to think of the Wall Street people as one step below used car salesmen... And by that I mean they are selling what are essentially used products they happen to have in inventory that their firm is pushing to sell, at great profit,
and that might make Cramer the king of the used stock salesmen....

We have all seen they type, sitting at his little metal desk at the dealership, disheveled, bad breath, always pissed off because he lost his job at Radio Shack, and his wife beats him and makes rotten meat loaf, and auto sales seemed to be a nice dovetail to the downward spiral... But I digress...

Hey, remember Joe 'spirit stick' Battipaglia, the cnbc cheerleader, who never saw a bear market he didn't like?

I didn't see the program tonight, but would be interested to know if he pounded the table on anything in specific? Were there any stocks with which he spent an inordinate amount of time shrieking for, or against?

We should be less interested in the issues he mentions casually. That's the noise factor. The best time to tune in is when he becomes over-the-top melodramatic. This is when he causes an abrupt change in a stock's volume/volatility.

And that's also when a contrarian should sit upright.

Alternatively: if you're able (willing?) to catch the show when it first airs (before the after market ECNs are closed),
try swinging in the direction of whatever he's most excited about.

Get in before the usual gap, and then prepare the usual flip.
