My last two "accidents" were in my driveway. I backed over my mail box, and backed into my friends new van that she had parked in my blind spot.

The only other accident I've had was in my new 442, in South Dakota, 1966. It the days before freeways, the highways went for a hundred miles in one cardinal direction, and turned 90 degrees to another cardinal direction for no apparent reason. It's hard to slow down from 90 mph, particularly when there is a semi coming the other way. "Flyin' low, aincha buddy?" No damage up to that point, but then I let my foot off the brake and rolled through a barbed wire fence, scratching up my brand new paint. After that I got smart. I still can't see in my blind spots though.
