Of course we completely disagree on all that... in fact lack of discipline leads in the exact opposite direction: Life of suffering and becoming lost in ego.

Your assertion on ego transcendance being a lack of discipline is contrary to the "101" version of all teachings of Buddhism, Vedic traditions, Zen Buddhisms of all types, and actually western psychology of any form post Jung.

But disagreement makes the world go round!! Any opinion on all this {mine too} is simply opinion.
