I don't think you have understood my point. All I am saying is that as the cost of energy rises, I would expect already refined gold to become worth a bit more in comparison to gold in the ground (i.e., to be more specific, the number: gold bullion/HUI would tend to grow a bit larger over time, even as it is in the meantime also bouncing all over the place....)
