"China is the low cost producer for this decade. Given they are so much larger than the next low cost producer they could be the dominant producer for far longer than Korea or Japan were in their day." True... but demographics also paints it's own picture: China will be passed by India in population this decade (and China's population will enter into a top heavy period of a more aged population --- just as Japan has, but later --- at a predictable point).
